Michael Rebelo, Publicis Groupe ANZ CEO, announced the appointment of Adrian Farouk for the role of Epsilon ANZ Chief Executive Officer. Mr Farouk will take charge of the martech Epsilon’s international data business and local operations with offices located in Melbourne and Sydney.

Mr Farouk will now have a dual role at Publicis Groupe and he will also retain his responsibilities as the CEO of Digitas ANZ, Publicis Groupe’s marketing and technology agency.

Adrian Farouk’s experience at Publicis Groupe

Mr Farouk joined Digitas by Publicis Groupe in 1999 in London. In 2012, he launched Digitas Australia. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience in areas such as strategy, user experience, e-commerce, consumer research, measurement and analytics and client services.

Mr Farouk says he is excited to bring the capabilities of Epsilon to their clients in Australia, enabling them to take control of their customer relationships and deliver quality services with great impact and precision.

Mr Michael Rebelo says Mr Farouk’s leadership and diverse experience at Digitas makes him the perfect fit for this additional role. Rebelo adds that as a digital marketing leader, Mr Farouk led and accelerated the launch of Digitas in the Australian market 8 years ago. He grew Digitas from the ground up to make it one of Australia’s most reputed marketing and technology agencies. Rebelo says he is confident that Adrian will bring the same deep understanding of technology and data to Epsilon.
