The latest tech news states that GoDaddy’s website-building product GoCentral is gaining an upgrade today, and with new features, there is a new name: Websites+Marketing. Keep reading to find out what this update is all about.

Websites+Marketing’s inception

Websites+Marketing is not just a website builder. Senior Director Heidi Gibson said, “a small business website is now part of an entire ecosystem that includes your online presence”. There are varied problems that small businesses have to face. When she was the chef/owner/Commander in Cheese at The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen in San Francisco, their target customer is not just a small business. They have got one to five employees who don’t know what they are supposed to do, and they also don’t know what’s useful.

GoDaddy’s latest update comes to the rescue

GoDaddy Websites+Marketing, which Gibson described as “an evolution of GoCentral includes different tools. These tools let you handle email marketing and search engine optimization. It syncs up with sites like Facebook, Yelp, Instagram and Google My Business. So that it is simple to read the current reviews and comments, respond and post updates straight from your Websites+Marketing dashboard.

It also adds a new feature called GoDaddy Insight, which relies on anonymized data. This is aggregated from all the businesses using GoDaddy and GoCentral. It gives entrepreneurs a summary of how their online presence and marketing compare to similar companies. It also provides users with an action plan advising the next steps for improvement. The website-builder looks pretty sleek, too.

More about GoDaddy’s latest features

Gibson noticed that some of the features would seem somewhat similar to anyone who has used a competing product. However, GoDaddy has taken steps to make things simpler. For instance, the Site Makeover feature enables businesses to take a quick glimpse of how their content might look. It is set out on each of the 20-plus website templates, rather than making them click through each one.

And due to GoDaddy’s current acquisition of Sellbrite, businesses can handle their product listings over online shopping sites like Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.

How much will you have to pay?

GoDaddy Websites+Marketing will be available in four pricing ranges, starting from $10 to $25 per month. Stay tuned with iTMunch for more such tech news, industry updates, etc.
