US-based hybrid cloud management platform developer CloudBolt has announced the acquisition of Kumolus, an Australian cloud management platform company. The acquisition will boost CloudBolt’s cloud management platform with a set of security, cost-management and governance capabilities. The move is also designed to help the company expand its presence in the APAC region.

A 2020 Flexera report suggests that the top three challenges are governance (79%), managing cloud expenses (82%) and security (83%) [1].
