Multinational corporation Capgemini promotes Australia and New Zealand CEO Olaf Pietschner to Asia Pacific CEO as a part of a global restructure. Pietschner has been the ANZ boss for the past 4 years since 2017. In his new role, Pietschner will continue looking at ANZ operations in addition to overseeing business in the APAC region. He will relocate to Singapore to join the Global Executive Leadership Team. 

In a statement, Pietschner feels humbled to take on this new position with Capgemini. The multinational corporation in the APAC region is a growth engine for the group and he is excited to be leading the talented team in the next chapter of growth which will be focused on cloud and data services.

About Olaf Pietschner – Capgemini APAC CEO

Hailing from Germany, Pietschner joined the French multinational Capgemini’s Central European operations for two years (from 2002 to 2004) before coming back to the company in 2017 as its Chief Operating Officer.

After a year, Mr Olaf was promoted to the position of Managing Director replacing Nicolas Aidoud, the company’s trans-Tasman leader. Pietschner has more than 25 years of experience and has previously worked at Origin Energy and News Corporation holding various executive roles.

Capgemini’s global restructure in 2021
