Cashrewards appoints Mr Steve Cuda as its Chief Product & Marketing Officer

Leading Aussie cashback reward program Cashrewards proudly announces its new Chief Product and Marketing Officer – Mr Steve Cuda. Just like the name suggests, Cashrewards is a well-known program in Australia that allows users to avail a part of their payment as cash back when shopping online or in-store.

Mr Cuda is one of Australia’s most successful loyalty and digital marketers and most -recently was the General Manager for Digital, Media & Data at Woolies X (the customer services, customer loyalty, e-commerce and digital division at Woolworths).

At Woolworths, Cuda was responsible for the retailer’s e-commerce, digital, customer services and customer loyalty divisions. There, he led the company’s digital media abilities and introduced data-driven personalization. He was also responsible for the company’s marketing and data capabilities that support its omnichannel customer experience and also launched various products such as the Everyday Rewards App, In-Store Rewards Hub and much more.

Steve joins Cashrewards at a point of time at which it is experiencing a substantial increase in engagement and membership as customers become more accepting of online solutions to save money. 

On being appointed as Cashreward’s Chief Product and Marketing Officer, Cuda says this is a great opportunity and he is delighted to join its growing team to continue the positive momentum. He adds that the consumer proposition of Cashrewards is both simple and compelling, it gives people an easy way to save money, no strings attached. 

He further adds that even from a retailer’s perspective, the program brings additional sales and more customers, it is a win-win for everybody – brands, consumers and the business itself.

In July, Cashrewards announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with MoneyMe that will allow the digital consumer credit fintech’s ‘Freestyle customers’ to earn cashback on online or instore purchases using their MasterCard at 1,500+ participating merchants.
