According to the latest marketing news, Amazon company’s biggest sales event is here and will be held on July 16, from 12 PM PT/ 3 PM ET. This sales event takes place only once every year for the last three years.

While last year’s Amazon Prime Day lasted for 30 hours, the difference this year is that the sale will last for 36 hours. Along with becoming the longest Prime Day to date, the sales event will also expand to new markets this year.

The Prime Day sales event is hosted in countries such as US, UK, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Italy, India, France, Canada, China, Austria, and Belgium. Along with these countries, Amazon Prime will also be hosted in other countries such as Luxembourg, Netherlands, Singapore, and Australia for the first time.

While Amazon aims to mark down its own devices for Prime Day, consumers can also expect discounts on various other products such as TVs, smart home, kitchen appliances, grocery, fashion and everyday essentials.

Amazon devices such as Echo, Fire Tv, and Fire tablets will be available on these days at the lowest prices. However, the biggest catch here is that true to its name, Amazon Prime Day is for Prime subscribers only. In order to reap the benefits of the sale along with many other advantages, you can subscribe and become an Amazon Prime member. However, the company recently raised its annual prime rate to $119/year.

Amazon will most likely be breaking records again this year by doubling on their event time and offering even more deals on products and devices.
