Bellizia has joined Ebanx from Google, where she was working as the Vice President for marketing, Latin America. She started working about 30 years ago in 1992 at Whirlpool Corporation as a Brand Manager, Marketing Manager and Product Development Manager. Later in life, she worked in companies including Telefonica, Arrezzo&Co, and Burger King. In her three-decade career, she has also taken up high-level positions at tech giants like Microsoft, Apple and Facebook.
On being appointed as the President, Global Payments, Bellizia said that the Brazil-based fintech Ebanx has a consistent trajectory and has launched products and services that open many doors.
“From the business to the consumer market, from consumers to the best brands, and from a digital economy that creates more access and fosters ecosystems,” she adds. Bellizia says that she is thrilled with the challenge of continuing and accelerating this work alongside all the talents at Ebanx.
Ebanx Chief Executive Officer, João Del Valle says that everyone at the company is so pleased Bellizia’s arrival, as she’ll help the company level up at a significant time in the history of the company, the global digital market, and the payments industry. Del Valle adds that Bellizia will further boost the growth of Ebanx and the reach of its customers with her exceptional career experience and expertise, and her affinity with topics that are important to the company, like diversity, access, and technology.
Ebanx also said that Bellizia has joined its executive team at the time of great growth and expansion. In the past 8 months, the company has opened an office in Mexico, bagged a $430 million investment from Advent International, and acquired two companies.

About Ebanx – a LatAm cross-border payments company
Founded in the year 2012, Ebanx is a financial services company that processes cross-border transactions. The company has helped tens of millions of individuals from multiple countries, including Brazil, Argentina and Chile, gain access to international e-commerce websites, like Amazon and Alibaba. In 2021, Ebanx has secured over $400 million in funding, opened a Mexican office and also acquired Brazilian financial technology companies (Remessa Online and Juno).
Last month in January 2022, Ebanx said it expects to double its business operations in Mexico for the second year in a row as it prepares to onboard 10 new retailers and launch its first office in the country with an expanded roster of employees.
“Mexico is much more diversified,” Del Valle said at the time. “We probably have 10 marketplaces that do 80% of the market, so that’s much healthier and much more room for competition and to provide different services.”
