Aussie fintech firm Airpay FinTech has announced its integration with AsiaPay, a payment gateway, to enable merchants in Australia and New Zealand to accept WeChat Pay, UnionPay and Alipay through its network of payment plugins like Opencart, WooCommerce and Magento. 

Through this collaboration, ANZ merchants are also to receive digital marketing support via AirPay Financial Technologies to drive traffic to their websites. Additionally, merchants will also be able enjoy several value-added gateway features such as MCP, Pay Booth, Recurring Payment, Payment Link and built-in Anti-Fraud solutions.

AsiaPay allows merchants registered with them to accept payment methods such as PayPal, ZipPay, Alipay, POLi, Amex, Visa/MasterCard, WeChat Pay and UnionPay through advanced API and payment plugins.

Senior Manager at AsiaPay AirPay C-Founder Mr Simon Tse said they are excited to offer omni-channel payment and marketing to Primus Hotel, Sneakerboy, Urban Pharmacy, Canvas Beauty, Daojia and HarkHark through AsiaPay’s integration. He adds that the company aims at driving 1 million Chinese consumers to merchants through everyday usage of their new features “ToPay” which is embedded within the Chinese media platform “Today Australia” app.
